EMBC’18

I attended the 40th International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBC’18) where a paper, TRACING TUBULAR STRUCTURES FROM TERAVOXEL-SIZED MICROSCOPE IMAGES authored by Shruthi Raghavan and Jaerock Kwon, was presented as a poster.

Alumni – Michael and Dr. Lee from Brain Networks Lab at Texas A&M University

DMBD’18

I attended the Ninth International Conference on Swarm Intelligence (ICSI’2018) held in conjunction with the Third International Conference on Data Mining and Big Data (DMBD’2018) at Shanghai, China. The title of the paper that I presented was “Image Processing Pipeline for Web-Based
Real-Time 3D Visualization of Teravoxel Volumes” authored by Akanksha Ashwini and Jaerock Kwon.

I met Dr. Qirong Tang at Tongji University (http://robotics-tongji.org/members/qtang), Organizing Committee Chair of the conferences. We discussed future potential cooperations on education and research.

A post-doc and a graduate student who I met in the conference.

I also met Prof. Hideyuki Takagi at Kyushu University (http://www.design.kyushu-u.ac.jp/~takagi/). Prof. Takagi’s research areas are Humanized Computational Intelligent and related topics.
